Do you have some photo taking techniques in the Sims 3? Or do your pictures just naturally come out great?

I actually think most of my pictures are quite amateurish looking, but thank you so much for the compliment! I’m really glad that someone likes them! c:

I guess I do have a kind of ‘technique’…

I tend to take a few screenshots of the same thing from different angles before I choose my favourite - and then of course they’re all edited in Photoshop. How I edit them depends on what kind of picture it is, but generally I tend to use the blur tool to get rid of any jagged edges (even with edge smoothing they’re still EVERYWHERE) and I increase the brightness and vibrance so they’re a bit more colourful.

I also often use these PSDs made by birdieandbutton - especially “Hazy Days” (set to about 25%) because I love the effect it has on the colours! If you know how to use PSDs you should definitely download those ones :-)

And I can assure you if I didn’t spend so much time editing my screenshots they’d look bloody awful! You should see the originals… *shudders*

Has anyone heard from Amy (Birdie and Button/Penelope's Attic)? I hope that she hasn't left due to the negativity she got from a few anons....she was really sweet and it was always a joy to see her posts appear on the dash.

Please do not make me break into a window shattering rendition of If You Seek Amy...my windows are single pane and someone might take it literally being the west of Scotland...

yes! ♥ really good set, I had to go thru it though and see each one and separate what was what but once I had all the toddler clothes' apart I couldn't select further so I just add them all xD I'm gonna add the child's one once they group up (makes me feel less bad)

It's actually not my graphics, it totally is photoshop. I highly recommend watching a crapton of ps video tutorials on youtube, I've learned quite a lot in the past few month! (Especially about blurring and sharpening, which increses my Sims pics quality a looot!)
