Experimenting with pastels! I like the powdery soft look, and also how vibrant the colours are. It definitely discourages working too closely on details.

But at the same time because they’re pencils I don’t feel like doing very big drawings.

I’ll be looking at the pastel works of Mary Blair , the classic Disney visual artist. Check them out if you can, they’re astounding.
