Regarding W98 on a laptop - does the laptop support booting from USB, by any chance? Because if so, you could create a MS-DOS boot disk on a USB, copy over the contents of the CD, boot into DOS from the USB, and cd to the directory and install

Its a Toshiba Satellite T1910CS-200 with a 486 and now 8MB of on board RAM.  USB hadn’t even been created yet when this laptop was designed, and the PCMCIA card slots are unfortunately 16 bit only.  A USB flash drive is unfortunately out of the question for this 22 year old computer.

10. What’s the hardest thing for you to write?

Intimacy. Not smut (not that I ever plan on writing it), just extremely emotional and personal interactions between characters. Especially if a character isn’t used to being vulnerable to others (*coughanselcough*). They’re such important moments, and I can just never figure out how to write them in a way that satisfies me. :I

Blood-frenzied Ansel is also a bit tricky because I’ve never written anything quite like it, but I’m having a blast trying to figure it out.

Oh, and Lysandre. I’m super biased against the Healing Church, so I have to figure out how to overcome that in order to make his interactions feel natural and… less forced, I guess. IT’S HARD.

55. What do you like to do as you reply to threads? Listen to music? Have TV on? Complete silence? Dark room? etc.

I can’t focus unless I close my door and put music on. It’s impossible. :u It applies to any type of writing, honestly. Threads, personal stuff, homework, anything.

Yulia blinked once, then twice, and a rosy tinge came to her cheeks as she giggled in delight. She couldn’t decide what was better: getting a kiss from a complete stranger who hadn’t lost every ounce of their sanity, or the fact that they had to stand on their toes to even reach her nose.

“Why, aren’t you adorable,” she sang, before batting her eyelashes in a rather suggestive manner. “Interested in widows, are you, darling? Oh, I’m just toying with you.”

She leaned down to return the gesture, effectively smudging the tip of their nose with ruby-colored lipstick.
