This is one of the big birdwatching hides at the London Wetland Centre. Whenever I’ve been inside it’s been full of birders wearing waterproof waders and fiddling with the buttons on their telescopic cameras. It’s usually very quiet like a library, with lots of jottings being entered into their notebooks.
