@birrdies mczu so good it made me physically sick, I couldn't finish it. BUT IT WAS PHENOMENAL EVERY SECOND. (I also cried to as above so below twice)

@draculism gets me regularly with Ethubs ouch but this line killed me just last night "Bdubs falters. The sentence could end a million different ways, but when it comes down to it, the only thing he actually wants to say is I still love you. And he can’t, he can’t, he can’t say that. " ( Anybody's silver lining)

And ill keep it at four, though I really could shout about a lot of mcyt authors that make me explode. Thank you to all the folks in this list, your work inspires so much emotion!! Im so proud to have cried to your art.

I'm still eternally grateful to @twodiamondhoes and @birrdies for being such massive inspirations to me. Their work is so well crafted that I am constantly going back to read it.

If you're looking for fics that read like published works, these are the authors to start with. I am always itching to write something when I look back at their fics. It's like pure inspiration magic.

@birrdies <333 if we’re talking fics that absolutely broke my heart 1000% nothing sends me spiraling quite like mczu ranchers (or really the mczu in general). One of the most perfecrly cohesive series I’ve ever read. Choices and consequences. What do you do when you’ve not only killed the love of your life but the love of someone else’s :’) so unbelievably honored to be trusted to have read them

Shoutout to some of my favourite writers in this fandom!

@sillyfairygarden - insanely talented (and imo actually underrated) author and artist, and pretty much the sole reason I check my mail inbox first thing every morning.

Also. Scarpearl. Shaky thumbs up. Reading “no number exists for griefs like these” was honestly a delight! Glad I decided to check it out after asking for a favourite work ("But oh, the bloom" still leaves rent free in my head though)

@silverskye13 - I’ve reread Redstone and Sculk a number of times now (and I will again). Whenever I see a dandelion I’m reminded of Tanguish - there’s a screenshot of it sitting on my desktop, but I absolutely adore this line:

“It gave him the look of a sleepwalker, and Helsknight didn't like it. He was used to the wide, curious, cat-like gaze, glittering in dandelion yellow”

Reading “This Place Is Not A Place  of Honour” for the first time had me with my jaw on the ground. Incredible

@violet-fire-cat - Spring Blossoms is maybe the cosiest fic I’ve ever read. Giggling and kicking my feet. Had actual tingles in my fingers when they finally got their act together :)

@birrdies - the lifeline au is SO intriguing and I absolutely adore the storytelling through all the different media elements. I am so excited to see where it goes - listening to the podcast aspect of the story is such an experience!

@definitelynotshouting - the hunger au. Need I say more. Hand on heart it makes me want to curl up in bed with a hot water bottle while I Feel Things. Slightly dangerous to read/reread in the middle of the night though I’m incapable of putting writing that good down and actually sleeping.

I believe the tag limit is five so (absolute tragedy /s) I’ll probably have to send another ask about more talented writers! :D
