scp 983 is the birthday monkey. if it's not your birthday nothing happens but if it is it'll sing happy birthday to you. it'll sing the song on repeat until you sing along with it and you age 1 year every time it completes the song. it'll keep singing until you either die of old age or sing along.
if you sing along you get a piece of candy when it's done. the properties of the candy depends on how well you sing. People who don't sing and instead die from old age receive a black candy which is under no circumstances to be eaten.
