"Dove!” he called from his bedroom, a small flat box on his bed. He smirked as she came in and she knelt in front of him. “Alright, I know it’s early. But I wanted to make sure my plans didn’t get ruined. So this is for your birthday, though we’re gonna do it the weekend after, since I didn’t wanna take y’all away from the girls on your actual birthday,” he said, handing her the box. “And I didn’t want ya makin’ other plans for that weekend.”
