It is National Nurses' Week, and I thought I would send a huge shout out to all the amazing nurses I have the privilege to work with in labour and delivery in the last 2 years.❤️ Nurses who spend their days and night supporting women in labour, who hold their hands, brush the hair out their eyes, and hold cool clothes to their foreheads. Nurses who comfort a momma during transition, and cheer them on when they start to push. Nurses who patiently help first time moms navigate swaddling, breastfeeding and holding their new bundle, and shed a few tears of joy when families welcome their new additions And ones who greet each family with the same enthusiasm as the one before. You are truly an amazing group! Thank you for welcoming me in to your space, and allowing me to document the arrival of these tiny humans for their parents!
