I always feel a deeply selfish, irrational outrage when a writer I love deletes their fic. But since I've started writing fic myself I also understand it better than I used to.

That said, biscuitsplease deleting their account is devastating and makes me so sad because I know peach would have been a story that I would have reread over and over. I would have downloaded it as soon as it was finished to keep it forever but of course I hadn't done that yet.

There's a lot of speculation going around about why they did it but it could really be a number of reasons - I hope it wasn't because of fandom discourse or harrasment because that would be outrageous. I try to stay on the nice side of this fandom so it always surprises me when I catch wind of the insanity in other corners. Phew.

So yeah. I hope they're okay, and if anyone had the foresight to download peach please send it to me! Even as an eternal wip I would love to be able to reread it :( (i have all their fics now, dm me if you want a link)
