First impression

“Can you stop whining for two seconds, my dude?” I thought he was very grumbly and angry and hard to win over when I first met him. Like, my dude can you cool your jets?

Impression now

I understand why he comes off the way he does to you and I don’t fault him for being upset and angry with the situations he’s been handed in life. I care about him even if he can be a bit of that obnoxious younger brother at times. He’s got a good big heart underneath it all.

Favorite moment

I love bringing him along for Legacy since you get those siblings moments again where you’re both at different points, making a name for ones self in different ways. Carver is finally out of the shadow of their older sibling and can breathe and do what he wants and get recognized for it without his sibling.

Idea for a story

He needs a farm with fifteen mabari and it’s just him trying to wrangle and love all of them.

Unpopular opinion

I don’t....really have an unpopular opinion? I know I personally like him better as a Warden than as a Templar because he’s away from the mess of Kirkwall and I’m sure during his time in the Gallows he saw some awful things. But, I like him as a warden better.

Favorite relationship

I do love the ship potential of him and Merrill and how cute that could be, but I do love the sibling relationship that comes out at the end of the game. Where Carver does say that he loves and appreciates his sibling and will be by their side no matter what.

Favorite headcanon

Carver keeps a journal and writes more letters to his sibling than he cares to admit. He also misses them a lot more than he cares to admit at times.

First impression

“She is a huge worried little sweetheart, I care about her so much already. Don't worry your sibling has got this!”

Impression now

I adore her and how far she comes and how she grows in the game. She’s a force to be reckoned with--she is a force mage after all--and she grows to know it. Her magic isn’t something to be ashamed of and she shouldn’t be ashamed of who she is either.

Favorite moment

Because it’s heartbreaking in the worst way, my fave has to be when she comes down with blight in the Deep Roads and you have to say goodbye. I knew it was coming and what was at stake, but that scene just broke my heart into pieces. I had grown to love her and I could see how much she loved Hawke and  how she didn’t want to go.

Idea for a story

She ends up playing a large role in the reorganization of the Circles after the Mage Templar war and how the new system is handled. She talks of her experiences in Kirkwall and what her sibling did and she advocates for the templars to have a duty and a responsibility again, not just authority.

Unpopular opinion

I wanted to have her around more and got to see her development on screen. I wish there was more to that and we got a deeper look at her relationship with Hawke more than just the “i love you because you’re my sibling!”

Her and Hawke and their sibling dynamic. I am always a sucker for a sibling dynamic.

G. A fistfight - for our grumpy loves? 💞

Shokrakar and Myrinah sat in Cullen’s office, like two naughty children waiting to be scolded. No doubt the advisers would want words with them, which is why Cullen had dragged them there in the first place, they were just waiting for Josephine and Leliana. Myrinah sat back, a little bit more relaxed, not so bothered about this, Shokrakar on the other hand. He had curled into himself, wouldn’t look up from his feet, too quite. It was beginning to make Myrinah feel a little bit uncomfortable. He was usually so chatty, had something smart to say when it was Myrinah acting alone, but he had to intervene.

Whilst sat in tavern two nobles had turned their noses up at Myrinah. She didn’t care too much, nobles and their opinions never bothered her too much. She was too busy enjoying her night with Shokrakar, but then...the whisper of “Knife-ear” floated through the air. She hated that term anyway, but this time she knew if was aimed at her. She looked up to see the noble woman looking at her, and the noble man giggling from behind his mask. That was it, Myrinah snapped. She stood from her chair and dived on the woman, dragging her to the ground.

Shokrakar sat back and let her go, letting her do what she needed to do. But as soon as the man go to close, he jumped out of his seat and grabbed him. Myrinah could easily defend herself, but going for her when she was already distracted, that was a no go. It did not end well for the nobles, but they were alive at the very least. A fist-fight in the middle of the tavern was always something people were interested in seeing. But seeing it done by the Inquisitor and her Qunari lover? Now that was cause for gossip.

Which is how they got here. Myrinah leaned forward to look at Shokrakar’s face, raising her eyebrow. “Shok?” She asked quietly. “Are you alright?”

“Yes,” He answered bluntly, clasping his hands together tightly. He sighed loudly, leaning back in his chair, his legs stretching out across the floor. “I lost control.”

“So did I,” Myrinah let out a small laugh, sitting back in her chair. “There’s no reason to get upset.”

Shokrakar lifted his hand up to his face and rubbed the bridge of his nose with his finger, letting out a deep sigh. “I promised I’d be better,” He mumbled. “I don’t do that shit anymore.”

Myrinah shuffled closer, then climbed into Shokrakar’s lap, sitting in it comfortably. “Shok,” She placed her hands onto his cheeks and stroked it gently. “You did nothing wrong, my love, nothing.” She kissed his forehead gently. “Thank you for having my back.”

Shokrakar tilted his head back to look up at her. “I will always have your back, Kadan.” He gently stroked Myrinah’s back, leaning in to kiss her until the door opened and the advisers came in.

Myrinah climbed back into her chair. “Here we go,” She mumbled. “Time to get spanked.”

Shokrakar dragged himself into Myrinah’s room, he threw his spear onto the ground the collapsed onto the couch near her bed. He groaned loudly and stretched out his legs until he heard a loud click from his knees. He did the same with his arms, huffing loudly as he cracked his bones. He kicked his shoes off and just lay there for a moment, letting his aching muscles rest for a moment.

“Long day?” Myrinah asked, watching him from her bed. She lay in it, waiting for him to return.

“Very.” Shokrakar replied bluntly, flopping his arm over his face and yawned loudly. “Troops really make me work hard sometimes.”

“Mmmm, not harder than me I bet,” Myrinah laughed and climbed out of bed, she walked over to Shokrakar and stood next to him. “I have a surprise for you.” She ran her hand over Shokrakar’s arm, trying to get him to look at her.

“That’s nice, Kadan,” He smiled. “But can it wait? I’m worn out.”

Myrinah moved Shokrakar’s arm away from his face then cupped his chin gently. She turned his head so she could look and him and very gently told him. “Shokrakar, look at me.”

Shokrakar sighed loudly and looked up at Myrinah, there was nothing new about her face, she looked beautiful as always. But then, Myrinah used his chin to angle his head, making him look over her body. His eyes widened as he saw the surprise she had been talking about. She was dressed in gorgeous, black and white lingerie, with a soft satin robe wrapped over her shoulders.

“Oh, fuck,” Shokrakar murmured quietly. He placed his hands onto Myrinah’s hips and with a small chuckle he pulled her against his and nuzzled his face into her chest. “I love you so fucking much, so fucking much.” He told her as he gently stroked her back.

“And to think, you almost missed this.” She ran his hand over the back of Shokrakar’s head, stroking gently. “You big softie.”

Ash folded his arms, watching Myrinah from the corner. A harsh scowl on his face, which was really just his regular, everyday, expression. Myrinah looked over at him, she always got the feelings that he didn’t like her, but she didn’t care...she didn’t like him either. He was obnoxious, rude, aggressive, things she understood at times but the way he did it really rubbed her up the wrong way. She looked away, trying to ignore him but his eyes seemed to follower he. She stopped what she was doing and walked over to him, looking up at his rough, miserable face.

“Is something bothering you, Ash?” Myrinah asked, a slight hiss in her tone. “Because, you seem to be watching my every fucking move and it’s starting to get annoying.” Trying to work with someone watching your every move wasn’t rare for Myrinah, she always had eyes on her, but his...just pissed her off.

Ash licked his teeth, his face screwing up a little. “Just watching you float about, acting like you’re important,” He unfolded his arms and leaned in a little closer to Myrinah. “It’s vile, these people hate you, hate what you are and yet you play nice with them. It makes me sick.”

Myrinah took a step back, using every ounce of strength she had not to stab him. “Well, Ash,” She gritted her teeth, breathing heavily. “I’m doing what I have to do to keep the peace, I am important, I’m leading a whole army, maybe if you had to brain cells to rub together, you’d understand that everything I do is necessary. But you don’t you stand in the corner, pouting like an oversized child because nothing is going the way you want it to.”

Ash let out a slight chuckle, he tilted his head looking directly into Myrinah’s eyes. “If it wasn’t for that mark they would have strung you up and charged you for the Divine’s death,” He stood up straight and shook his head. “But why should I care? Go to the ball, wear a fancy dress made for bas, save the empress...enjoy pretending they don’t want to kill you, I want no part of it.”

“Well that is too bad, since you’re coming,” Myrinah had to hold in a grin as she watched Ash’s eyes open horror. “There are many nobles there who know you, who lit up when I mentioned your name, some have known you for years apparently, and their parents.”

Ash face curled in anger, his fists clenching. He didn’t answer, just stared down at Myrinah. “I’m not the only one who gets involved with humans it would seem,” Myrinah laughed, folding her arms. “It wasn’t me who tried to become a noble, whilst attending their fancy parties and drinking their wine, was it, Ash?”

Ash huffed and pushed past Myrinah. “Oh! And one more thing,” Myrinah called over to him, making Ash stop in his tracks. “I’m not wearing a dress.” Ash looked over his shoulder at her before walking away, mumbling Qunlat swears under his breath. Myrinah chuckled to herself quietly, knowing full well she’s won that argument.

Myrinah entered into the tavern, a favorite place of hers. But, she wasn’t here for a drink, she had heard something interesting and wanted to know if it were true. When Bull was drunk his tongue grew it a little loose, or at least he acted that way. Everything he said sounded a little rheresed to Myrinah, like he had a plan. Which he did, Shokrakar and Bull had spoked of Myrinah and Shokrakar may have admitted that Myrinah had caught his eyes but he was nervous and unwilling to admit his feelings to her. Bull, being helpful as ever decided to take it into his own time and slam there two into each other.

Bull had met up with Myrinah the night before and they’d had a drink together and he told her a little bit more than she needed to know, or just enough. Now, she was on a mission to get even more information. She looked around, a small smirk growing on her lips when she spied Shokrakar, sat alone in the corner. He was alone, which she was thankful of. She walked over to him and leaned her hands onto the table, looking directly into his eyes. He looked up, looking at Myrinah but avoiding eye contact with her, a small, shy smile on his face.

“Rumour has it,” Myrinah grinned. “I make your nervous?”

“Uh,” Shokrakar leaned back in his chair. “W-who told you that?”

“I have my ways,” Myrinah shrugged, she pulled out the chair and slowly sat down on it, facing Shokrakar. “Is it true?”

“N-no! Of course not! I-I-I...Uh…” His face slowly began to turn red as he sunk back into his chair. He groaned loudly, and leaned his head back. “I’m gonna kill Bull.” He quickly sat up straight and leaned onto the table. “Look, what I said to Bull...I...I just…”

“I was flattered,” Myrinah interrupted. “You’re definitely someone I’d be interested in. You’re big, tall, handsome...sweet…”

“O-oh,” Shokrakar giggled a little, hiding his face behind his hand. “W-would you like to have a drink together sometime? Just us?”

“How about right now?” Myrinah smiled, crossing her legs. “I’m not busy.”

“Oh! Sure! I-I’ll go get you a drink!” Shokrakar practically jumped out of his seat and hurried to the bar, Myrinah turned her head to watch him. She turned away and looked at the opposite side of the room, Bull sat there, watching them with a large smirk then winked at Myrinah.

Myrinah entered into Skyhold’s tavern, after a long day she deserved a drink or...10. She’d worked hard, so why not? She sniffed up the air, the smell of ale and mead filled her nostrils, making her heart flutter. And then, came another thing that made her heart flutter, a familiar sound she’d rarely heard, Shokrakar’s loudest laugh. It filled the room, drowning out any other noise. People were talking, enjoying themselves but all Myrinah could hear was him. She followed the sound to find him sat in a circle with Bull and The Charger’s, tears of laughter streaming down his face.

“What’s so funny?” She asked, smiling at Shokrakar. She wrapped her arm around his shoulders, pressing her body up against his arm.

“Oh, hey, Kadan!” Shokrakar smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist. “Bull was just telling me about when he was a young man, pull up a seat! He isn’t finished yet.”

“I’ll just sit here,” Myrinah climbed into Shokrakar’s lap and got herself comfortable. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held on, his arm wrapped around her waist kept her firmly in place. “Carry on, Bull!” The Chargers watched her climb into Shokrakar’s lap then turned their attention back to Bull.

“Huh? Oh right...yeah, so I was in this tavern,” Bull continued his story but Myrinah wasn’t even listening. She looked down at Shokrakar’s other hand and saw that he had a mug of ale in it.

She leaned in close. “Can I have a sip?” She whispered quietly, not wanting to interrupt Bull again.

“Hm?” Shokrakar jumped a little at the sound of Myrinah’s voice, he was thoroughly engrossed in Bull’s story. He looked down at her and nodded, lifting his mug. “You can have it, I’ll get another one.” He smiled softly as Myrinah lowered one hand from Shokrakar’s neck and took the mug from him, he could see the glee in her face as she took the first sip, sighing happily after she swallowed it.

“I love you,” She whispered again, placing a small kiss onto his cheek. She gulped down the rest of the ale and set the mug down. Once her hand was free she lifted it up and slipped it through the buttons of Shokrakar’s shirt and began to stroke his bare chest, leaning her head onto his shoulder. She still wasn’t paying attention to Bull, she could feel Shokrakar’s muscle lines as she stroked and then the hairs tickled her fingers. “Have you worked out today?”

Shokrakar nodded, not really answering her as he listened to Bull. But, his fingers lazily trailed over his back, making the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. “Yeah a bit,” He finally replied, quietly. “Do you want to go get a drink?”

“Yes!” Myrinah practically jumped out of her seat and ran over to the bar, Shokrakar smiled at The Charger’s, rather awkwardly but they all gave him a knowing nod as he followed Myrinah. When he got there she’d already got her drink, clasping it tightly into two hands. “Damn! That’s good!” She sighed happily.

Shokrakar laughed and leaned onto the bar, watching her. “Better?” Myrinah nodded before lifting the mug to her lips again, gulping it down like she hadn’t had a drink in weeks. Shokrakar smiled and shook his head. “Good.”

Myrinah slammed the mug down onto the bar and turned her attention to Shokrakar. She licked her lips and looked him up and down. “You’re so...big,” She huffed breathlessly and pressed her hands to Shokrakar’s chest. “If all these people weren’t here, I would be on my knees with your cock in my mouth.”

Cabot was stood behind the bar, he raised an eyebrow and quickly walked away, pretending he had something else to do but he managed to stay within earshot.

“After all the things we’ve done,” Shokrakar laughed. “People watching is where you drawn the line?”

“Well...you have a little bit more than most men,” Myrinah moved her hand down to Shokrakar’s crotch and gently stroked it. “I don’t want them thinking they can share.”

Myrinah sighed and pushed back from her desk, lifting her eyes to look at Shokrakar. He look genuinely sad, it made her heart sink a little but then she would remember what he did and feel a little less guilty. “Shokrakar...it’s not that easy,” She rubbed the bridge of her nose with her fingers. “You...what you did, it’s gonna take more than an apology and some random act of kindness.”

“I know...I know…” Shokrakar stood up and walked over to the desk, looking down at Myrinah, trying to keep his face as neutral as possible. “I just really miss talking to you.” He rubbed the back of his neck, as he always did when he was uncomfortable and sighed softly. “I fucked up, I never wanted to hurt you.”

“Well...you did,” Myrinah leaned her head into her hands and let out a disgruntled groan. “Everytime I think about forgiving you I remember how much it hurt me...you were the last person who I thought would hurt me, Shok, and yet...you did just that.”

Shokrakar got down onto one knee in front of Myrinah and placed his hands onto her arms, squeezing them gently. “I’ll will spend the rest of my days making this up to you, I promise you that.” He bowed his head a little, looking down at the floor.

Myrinah looked down at Shokrakar nodded. “I believe you.”
