The Shortest Klance One-Shot In Existence
Summary: Keith and Lance are working on a photography assignment at school but get a little distracted by their love for each other.
Note: Literally my first time attempting a one-shot so it’s hella short and at the same time a Voltron fanfiction. I usually stick to oc x character but I thought I might give it a try???? But like I was bored so fair warning it’s so short it literally takes point two seconds to read lmaoo
“What the hell are you even talking about, Lance?” Keith muttered, furrowing his eyebrows as he focused his camera. Staring through the lens, he felt himself flush.
Lance shrugged as he stretched his arms over his head, the hem of his Garrison HS Track & Field t-shirt riding up, showing off the tanned skin of his navel. “I”m just saying, you know,” He rambled, “Maybe aliens do exist! We have no proof they don’t. Besides, we’re like, tiny specks of dust in the entire universe. There’s no telling what’s out there! I mean, we don’t even know the full extent of what’s on our own planet - let alone the entire universe!”
Keith just chuckled as he snapped away, taking different angled photographs of the other boy. His eyes strayed to the thin strip of exposed skin on Lance’s stomach and swallowed dryly. He shook his head, clearing any inappropriate thoughts that had nudged its way into his mind.
Lance arched a perfectly waxed eyebrow at the Korean boy, dropping his arms and waving an accusatory finger at him, “Are you - are you disagreeing with me?” Lance pouted, crossing his arms and turning away from Keith dramatically.
Keith felt a smile tug at his lips and put his camera down, looking over at the other boy affectionately through his own eyes. “No, of course not.” He grinned, walking the short distance between the two teenagers.
Lance walked a few steps away, keeping his back turned to Keith, “You’re making fun of me! You laughed! I can see you smiling.”
Keith merely shook his head, closing the difference between them and pulling Lance into a hug, leaning his head against the other's back as Lance was taller than Keith so he couldn’t quite reach the Cuban boy’s neck. “Wrong again,” He murmured, squeezing his boyfriend tight, “I just think you’re cute is all.”
Lance tried to fight the smile on his lips that always seemed to appear around Keith but gave up, letting out a chuckle of his own. He turned to hug him back, burrowing his head into the crook of Keith’s neck.
They both sighed contentedly, smiles on both of their faces as they hugged each other tight.
“I love you.”
“I love you, too, Mullet-head.”
