I wish people would quit erasing bisexuality.

It’s just as real as being gay or lesbian.  Yes, there are bisexuals who do lean toward one side more but that DOESN’T invalidate their BIsexuality.  It irritates me so much when people think it’s impossible for someone to be bisexual.  I see it happen more towards guys than girls.  Why is it so hard to believe that guys can like guys and girls? Sure, people do use it as a cover sometimes, then they do come out as something else, hell, I’ve done that when I was in middle school.  The only reason I did that though, is because people kept engraving it in my head that I can’t be a lesbian if I’ve never tried dating a guy, let alone never kissed a girl.  I’ve never felt any attraction towards guys, I mean, there are guys I’ve found aesthetically attractive, but that doesn’t mean I want to jump into bed with them or form a relationship.  I only feel that way towards girls and it’s always been that way.  At the end of the day, sexuality is fluid.  Yes, there are some of us who are set in stone with our sexuality, but our experience is different from everyone else’s.  Bisexuality is real, people changing their sexuality eventually is real.  It’s all within time and experience.

as a bi women who enjoys writing/role-playing, i always felt it kind of off-putting how willing some people were to write f/f ships with me as opposed to f/m because “heteros are Bad™”. 

seeing as enjoying/liking men AND women is part of my personal bisexual identity, having thoughts such as “maybe if i just liked strictly f/f X or Y would write with me or take more interest in what i want to share” really hurt. and it hurts even now, especially when it becomes more and more evident that those people are the same that romanticize gay/lesbian relationships because “it’s forbidden!!!” or what-have-you.

idk if any of what i wrote makes sense but it just hurts thinking that a part of my identity had to be quieted down in order for me to get conversations/interactions happening over messengers with my rp partners in the past, and that i have been shamed many times for support f/m ships and called “hetero trash” or whatever. anyway

Right, and here’s our opinion (though none of us mods here don’t ship Sherlolly--OOH SHOCKER).  We mean they’d be cute if Sherlock hadn’t expressed numerous times that he’s not attracted to her (or women), making his sexuality very clear to us. God knows about John, but saying he’s not gay really only eliminates one possibility.... that he’s not gay. But apparently some people have never heard of bisexuality. Anyways, Moftiss could have been kinder telling everyone that the ILY wasn’t real and Molly made up with Sherlock and shagged someone, but he has a right to say that because Molly is his OC and he knows her better than any of us do. 

We're not going to comment here about Martin’s recent comments, or the truth of the last sentence in the screenshot. We just want to say that there is literally no reason this person had to come onto that post and say this. It wasn’t a neutral post of the article, which would be open for anyone to discuss under. It was literally just a Johnlocker’s shitpost about it. But of course, if you’re a sherlollian you’re entitled to say whatever you want under anyone’s post because you’re just expressing your opinion.
