I got a new, good job in December that just hired me full-time that allows me to have a better work-life balance and actually pays well. Life is still a little hard—my wife doesn’t have steady employment and we had another life-threatening emergency episode with a different kitty—but it’s slowly getting manageable.
I’ve even been able to make some headway on the Bologna Incident [2] chapter, but it’s still just an outline for right now. That said, I’ve got the outlines for the rest of the fanfic, too! I promised myself I wouldn’t post or start another fic until BISFG was completed, and I mean it.
As it’s coming up on a year next month since the last update, I’ve been trying to focus on finishing up that chapter! Thank you for your constant support and stay tuned!

The kitties are very healthy now and begging for food whenever they can—and some good news I can announce! I can’t promise when it’ll be posted BUT! I’ve moved out of the outline phase and to actually writing part 2 of the Bologna Incident!

So BISFG isn’t on hiatus necessarily but I don’t think I’ll be able to get a chapter up for awhile yet. On top of my job laying off the entire company (myself + my wife) and leaving us unemployed, my cat had an emergency vet visit (life-threatening) and now my wife needs emergency dental care
I literally can’t afford to write right now, and even if I could, my mental health has been so ravaged by everything going on in the world and the states that my art has suffered for it
