Hi, sorry to bother, but I really need advice. I'm 23F and although I've had several straight relationships, I never considered myself 100% straight. I've kissed girls casually, and even had a crush on one once. But I've never been in a relationship with a girl and although I think I'm sexually attracted to girls, I can never picture myself in a relationship with one. I feel fake identifying as bi and like i'm not allowed to. Is it wrong to still identify as bi in my case? Thank u for ur help!

Your attraction to both females and males makes you bi. Not having a relationship with a female or not necessarily being able to see yourself in a relationship with another women doesn’t lessen your attraction to women.

Bisexuality isn’t a 50/50 split down the middle of equal attraction to males and females it can be 25/75 or 1/99 it doesn’t matter because you’re still bisexual.

You may just be uncomfortable with the thought of being in a relationship with a women because it’s something new and you’ve never tried it before so don’t let those kind of things make you fell less valid.

At the end of the day labels are for you and you only, so if bisexual feels right for you then that’s what you are!

Life struggles

I came out to the first person in my life today. I was absolutely petrified. Hell I still am. But the weight that has lifted from my shoulders is incredible. Just having that one person that I can actually be myself around is absolutely amazing. Being from a very judgmental family, they were forced to accept my gay aunt. However they still make crude jokes that cut deep when she isn’t around. My aunt is gay and has said numerous times that being bi isn’t an actual sexuality. Rather it is that people are confused, or they are a hoe who needs to fuck both sexes. Well I’m here to tell you that that’s completely untrue. If bisexuals aren’t a real thing then apparently I’m not a real thing. For all of you out there who are struggling with similar things, please know that you are never alone. There amazing people out there who care for you. And if you need someone to talk to, my inbox is ALWAYS open. I’m so tired of finding out that someone with amazing talent or a vibrant life hurt themselves because they felt alone. Please, please, please don’t ever give up on your situation. It truly does get better. If things don’t change naturally, just know you do have the power to change them. You have control over your life. Sorry for the rant. I love you all, take care of yourselves!!
