These Boys.... like we acknowledge how Good and Sweet Magnus is but can we take a moment to appreciate Merle constantly looking after his boys like... in previous arcs when he casts protectively he looks out for Taako and like.... Team Dad doing his best sometimes

Additionally, because we’ve gotta overanalyse all of this Merle talk like... do you think he’s deliberately keeping up this unaffected manner to try and keep the boys’ spirits up? Maybe not, in which case... do you think he genuinely only sporadically gives a damn about things?? Like he obviously doesn’t want to be in this Suffering Game TM but he’s still so chill about losing almost anything I’m. Has Merle given up on finding meaning in anything? A cleric who REGULARLY speaks dismissively of the god that keeps him alive and asks him face to face whether he thinks he’s stupid... makes a whole bunch of goofs.... maybe before everything else he needs to find some way to have faith in HIMSELF....

While we’re overanalysing here.... what’s not having a revenge mission gonna do for Magnus?? Is it gonna affect how he acts?? He remembers the bad things Calen did but not who he was and so what if he feels less personally responsible or something?? Is he gonna be a happier man but a less good hero??

It "warms" my heart how women themselves are programmed to not appreciate each other. Why we aren't allowed to tell we admire someone? For simple fact that they archived something in their lives...won Olympic medal, run successful business, lost weight, raised their children well...Why we have to deal with stupid questions and have to prove our opinions to others?
