Related to villain reader x matsus idea, who would be the easiest to manipulate out of the matsus and the hardest and why?

OOOO another good concept!!

again, just my opinions, but this is definitely food for thought!

from easiest to hardest, we’ve got...

💙 Karamatsu is the easiest to manipulate, no doubt, no question, no argument. the biggest reason is that he wants to be loved, so he’s willing to do anything for people to like him. all you really need to do is flash him some puppy dog eyes and/or a pretty please, or tell him things like “you’ll be doing me a really big favor” or “I’ll love you forever if you do this!” there are lines he won’t cross, but they’re very few.

❤️ Osomatsu is also fairly easy to manipulate, despite seeing the warning signs if someone else is being manipulated. it’s because he himself tends to take people at face value, and thinking he doesn’t really have anything worth manipulating him for. he also craves for people to pay attention to him, especially positive attention. praise him while you manipulate him and he’s pretty much all yours to do with as you please.

💚 Choromatsu isn’t necessarily easy to manipulate in general, but he’s very easy if you know the right things to use. he’s a sucker for a cute face and nice body, and he’s a sucker for intimate physical contact. there are a lot of things he can see through, ‘deals’ that aren’t worth it to him... then there are things he’d do a lot to get. a kiss on the cheek, a snuggle, a pass of your fingers through his hair? ah... okay, okay, he’ll do almost anything you want!!

💖 Totty is pretty hard to manipulate, although definitely not impossible, particularly if you know what he really wants. he’s a pretty skilled manipulator himself, so he’s not easy in the sense that he knows all the usual tricks and tactics. he’s used most of them! however... he’s weak to being given attention, new relationships, fawned over. if you can deliver in things like focusing energy on him and introducing him to more friends, it gets difficult for him to resist.

💜 Ichimatsu is, unsurprisingly, near the bottom; it takes some skill to get him to do what you want. it’s half due to the fact that he’s got depression and anxiety, so he’s largely unmotivated anyway, and half due to the fact that he’s kind of simple, there’s not too much you could offer that would get him to do something for you. your secret weapon is going to be compliments, and lots of them. if you compliment him a ton, and make every one seem genuine, he suddenly becomes putty in your hands.

💛 Jyushimatsu is the most difficult one to manipulate by far, for a pretty simple reason. he’s Jyushimatsu. he’s so out there in terms of being almost in his own world, you’ll probably spend more energy trying to convince him than you would just doing whatever the fuck it is you want from him yourself. manipulating him is a wasted effort 99% of the time. however, there’s one way and pretty much one way only: become his S/O first. there are a few things he won’t do for his S/O, but almost anything they ask of him, he’ll do.

squints would any of the muppet brothers have a choking kink and if so do they want to be choked or would they rather do the choking instead

❤️ Osomatsu would like it, and would be fine either way! He’s a little shy about doing the choking, simply because he doesn’t wanna hurt his S/O... but he settles into it with practice. They can choke him as hard as they want, though! He shows off the bruises just like he’d show off a hickey.

💙 Karamatsu enjoys it, though he’s even more skittish about hurting his S/O than Osomatsu, so he really only regularly likes to be the one on the receiving end. He’ll do it if they request, but he’s overly cautious. However, he loves the sensations that come with being choked, so they can be as rough as they like.

💚 Choromatsu would be really anxious about it; the feeling of not being able to breathe reminds him of an asthma attack, so it kind of distresses him. He wouldn’t be into it hardcore, but his S/O doing it gently once in a while might be okay. It might be hard getting him into doing the choking, though.

💜 Ichimatsu is big into it both ways, as if there was any doubt. He’s more partial to doing the choking, the sadistic bastard, but he’s more than willing to lie back and let his S/O choke him. They don’t have to treat him all soft, and he doesn’t have to treat them soft either, if they don’t want. It’s a win-win.

💛 Jyushimatsu doesn’t really care one way or the other, but he’s fine doing things either way! It’s not often he gets to feel all vulnerable and helpless, so being choked isn’t so bad. The only thing is that, well, it’s easy to forget his own strength... so when he chokes his S/O, he just has to be mindful.

💖 Totty doesn’t know that he’s too great with doing the choking... he’ll try for his S/O, though! It can be fun to take on a different role. And, of course, he actually does enjoy being choked and will seriously play up the cute, fragile angle. While he doesn’t like it every time, he’s down for making it a go-to.

Whump Todomatsu headcannon: Totty is afraid of the dark because, on very rare occasions, he experiences sleep paralysis. Worst yet is that his brothers just think he's having a really bad nightmare and brush it off.

tbf that’s probably not the only reason for that fear, but I can see it being one of several reasons!

after the first couple times and/or once it actually clicks for one of the others what’s going on, they stop brushing it off because holy shit their poor baby brother that’s TERRIFYING

good thing he sleeps between his two oldest brothers, once they know what’s going on they’re very vigilant about taking care of him 😌
