"Oi Mum," Kaylin hollered, bounding down the stairs, "I know you're excited to have me home and all but is all the stuff in my room really neces..." Kaylin trailed off when she made it downstairs and caught sight of her mother. Something was off, something was really off. She looked really young, younger than she'd ever seen her. "I...um...th...this isn't supposed to happen. Are you...what's the date today?"
"Jadeeeeee" Donna let out a giggle "I hope you don't mind that I started drinking without you!"
"Not at all Donna, I've missed hanging out with my favorite ginger." She gave the woman a wide grin.

Ashly was dragging along her friend Jade, grumbling under her breath, glaring at the dark haired and shorter girl. "It's the first day Jade! And you already managed it get us in trouble. Now we have to greet the new kids or whatever!" Jade sighed and gave the other girls curly blonde hair a tug. "Calm down, we give them a quick tour, tell them a couple fake rules and send them on their way. I mean really, for what I did... So worth it." "Covering the quarterback in maple syrup isn't worth it Jade, it's just stupid." Giving a frustrated sigh Ashly ran a hand through her hair as she stopped outside the school gym. This was where they were supposed it meet the two new students, apparently they were exchange students...
