"Oi Mum," Kaylin hollered, bounding down the stairs, "I know you're excited to have me home and all but is all the stuff in my room really neces..." Kaylin trailed off when she made it downstairs and caught sight of her mother. Something was off, something was really off. She looked really young, younger than she'd ever seen her. "I...um...th...this isn't supposed to happen. Are you...what's the date today?"

Clara was a smart girl, she wasn't going to deny that. However because of that she'd sometimes decided that she knew everything about anything. And now that had happened to be knowing what controls to press in the TARDIS. And after one button too many had been pressed she'd found herself with the TARDIS making a dreadful groaning sound. With a small grimace, she grabbed her coat and ran out the the doors of the ship, glad they'd stopped back at Earth for a pitstop. Clara went over to a nearby park bench to wait for the Doctor to figure out what was wrong with it. At least she wouldn't have gotten in trouble for wandering off.
