see this is EXACTLY my take on it bro . both of them are soooo guarded that theres no absolute way that they could ever put a label on it . God forbid they call it love . BUT they still get something out of it . companionship, comfort . fulfilling the emotional need or Whatever of the other . its a mutually beneficial arrangement that turns into intense (possibly codependent?) attachment but AGAIN god forbid Either of them call it love . on omega chamber is quite literally the one good thing holding sabines sanity together but it ISNT just him that shes fighting for

-and im so glad the devs went that direction instead of having them be outright boyfriend-girlfriend lovey dovey ala nanobomb, bc that genuinely does not make sense for their characters !!! they both have walls up so let them collide !!!!

idk ive always fw chiper but the prospect of canonization always made me nervous bc riot has disappointed me before. i was a little scared that they wouldnt respect the nuance of both of their characters but im super relieved after this lore stream and i have absolutely no qualms whatsoever about it now . apparently theyre updating the vls too to reflect the new developments of their relationship and im excited to see that

tldr i will always be in favor of chiper as long as its written the Right way . they are both equals, No One Is Harassing Anyone and its moreso an arrangement than an actual relationship

I want to talk about this image for a second!!!

Of course we love seeing them both enjoy the coffee that Chamber buys especially for her at the christmas market but i want to talk about how they’re in her place (we’re going to assume it’s her place since we see the Space Needle - a fixture of her hometown)

This could very well be his first time there, or he could already be a regular visitor - either way, this has big implications of how much Viper trusts Chamber.

As established, Viper is said to be extremely private with her private life. And so letting someone in her house - not her lab, not her room at HQ, but a very domestic and personal place for her, is a really big display and indicator to us (the viewer) of how much she’s opening up to Chamber.

She’s letting him into her life outside of work. I’m not entirely sure how much the agents know about each other outside of their work lives, but giving someone your home address is pretty personal stuff.

Anyway, I like to think that in this image it’s basically Viper giving him the go-ahead, and Chamber is still utterly dumb unsure how to read signals.

alr so i am saying this as a bitemark stan but they should've given us more hints if they were set on making them a canon couple from the start so people don't take it in such way lol they're really lazy about lore like it would've been so so much better if they just did what they did with nanobomb. while i never took it as harassment but as a start of something they also didn't give us anything else and we lived off ao3 and fanarts? then this christmas they dropped a tease then the BOMB like mama i think we are missing a few chapters of their relationship u should've given those part to us first i feel robbed now 😭
