It never realized how empty this city had left it feeling until everything that had gone missing came rushing back. Being able to kill humans was one thing, but a fully-powered disassembly drone could've feasted upon her core with a good sneak-attack. It was so much weaker, and it couldn't quite sort out how to fix that, and it was IMMENSELY aggravating.
Now, though? Now it felt w h o l e. POWERFUL. Forget these aliens that attacked the city; one quick trip to the core and it could devour the whole planet. There was already a giant pit in the center of the island- that'd be a good start. The Absolute Solver lived its absolute existence once more, and it had all the motivation in the world to make quick, fiendish work of this prison it had been trapped upon for a year and each of its wardens, one by one by one.
But Cyn had found something else that caught her interest- a constant source of such feelings, really. One that seemed caught up in its own mess at the moment. She hadn't seen what caused Uzi to be having to deal with a small horde of the near-invincible creatures by her lonesome. Had she come out here with a singer that got killed? Had she tried weakening them herself but her singing wasn't good enough?
It didn't matter. She had her hands full, stressed, in danger. Just one little change could tip the scales over. And Cyn intended to be that change. She waited, watching from afar, until she was sure Uzi would be looking in her direction. Only then did the holographic camoflauge she projected drop, her piercing golden X-eyes locking right with the plucky protagonist's.
Behind her, three tentacles writhed and whipped about, with a mechanical claw snapping shut in a threatening manner...and that big, hollow grin stretched wide across her face.
