"Hey, Uzi-Uzi! What job do you do over there?" He's thinking about looking into places of work. If he had his way, he'd work with Dar'khol! Too bad he's not even allowed.

TIS THE SKI-SON for @bitemedotmp3 WinterFES 2025
Queen's not sure where these big hills of snow came from, nor who built the new ski resort, but if it gives her a chance to bond with the resident thrill-seeker, Uzi, then she'll gladly give it a shot.
Outfitted with a safety helmet, goggles, and a ski suit, she might look like she knows what she's doing, though she's never actually hit the slopes in anything that wasn't a computer game.
Once at the top of the slope, Queen starts gassing up Uzi, trying to get her as excited as she was for that custom course maker back in the summer.
* Okay Uzi * Are You Ready For... * [Drumroll.OGG] * Your Next Obstacle Course? * This Should Be Easy It'll Be Like Playing SkiFree IRL (Minus The Yeti)
The course ahead seems easy... at first. It's best to get her started with something on her level. Queen doesn't think there'll be a yeti chasing after her, like in the game, though who knows if the Mistwood's other residents will make an appearance?
So, that robot girl she met once turns out to be working here, too...
Alphys fidgets with the sleeves of her coat for a moment, then does her best to break the ice.
"H-Hey! So you, uh... work here too, huh? How do you know M-M... Mister Tenna?"
She hopes that the teen was just joking about "doing violence here" earlier. She probably wouldn't have a job here otherwise, though it wouldn't be the first time Alphys worked with a "killer robot" on TV...

“ Some of you act like murder is such a big deal. ”
“I have to admit that this is a concerning statement to make. Is there a reason it should not be a big deal.”

"Miss—" The name escapes his lips before he corrects it midway with a pause. "—Uzi."
"I believe that's what you preferred? It's been a while since we've last talked."
He taps a finger on the table as he speaks, the other hand holding a cell phone to his ear as he stares down a blue screen of death in front of him.
"It's a little embarrassing to say, but my work computer seems to have stopped working. Do you do on-site consultations, or should I take it to you?"
"...Of course I'll pay for any travel fees you need."

A voicemail popped up on Uzi's business number in a low, husky alto; he spoke calmly, levelly, like someone trained to hide all emotion behind a rigid mask of manners.
"Good morning, this is Sage Harpuia--title Sage, name Harpuia. I saw your flyer for Uzi Doorman Electronic Repair, and I would like to engage your services. The electronics I need repaired are…me. I am a synthetic life-form, and I seem to be malfunctioning. Please see me at the Archimedes Ward, Condo number 424, at your earliest convenience. Thank you."
Harpuia hung up the phone before he could change his mind, or say something unnecessary, something to embarrass himself. He didn't know what else to do.
Yes, he had heard rumors around his housing ward that everyone experienced this sort of thing upon first arriving to Spirale. That everyone lost abilities that were second nature to them, found themselves reduced to something...mortal.
But how could that be? Harpuia couldn't wrap his head around it. He was a Reploid. He wasn't an organic being. Whatever was holding back an organic being's 'superpowers' should have no effect on him, right? ...Right?
And yet, his speed was hobbled. His terraforming systems were down. His personal transerver capsule was gone, cutting off his access to his armor and weapons. He couldn't fly. He couldn't fly. Who was he--what was he, what good was he--without the sky to call his home?
Harpuia curled up on the couch in Condo 424, wrapping his arms around his knees tightly, running himself mentally through several familiar self-calming techniques, and settled in to wait.
