We were gathering herbs for my bunny but I kept finding little slug babies on 'em, I released as many as I could but then we got home and my husband started checking his herbs and putting the babies on my hand. They'd always wake up and start exploring after being handled, they weren't shy at all. I released them all around our garden to grow into strong healthy slimers

The Damsel in Distress

This beautiful damselfly was flying along the road... too close to cars. It got almost hit by one, but the air impact was so strong it sent it flying to the ground instead (first luck). It landed on the asphalt temporarily incapacitated, the second car that passed missed it (second luck).

After that I saw I had enough gap to step on the street and grab it, still alive but dazed. I brought it to the small park along the side of the road (there was a canal some way to the other side, where it'd have been happier, but I didn't have time to bring it all the way there) where it could rest and recover. After a few minutes it started flying again... good luck, damsel.

I find damselflies to be some gorgeous insects both because of their striking colors and flying style
