@bithgreene respectfully, that’s not what I was trying to say. I’m not saying that’s okay, I agree with you! I think what robinson did was slimy and disgusting and I’m glad he got fired. The point I was trying to make is that there’s a big difference between saying “it’s not okay to make inappropriate and predatory advances on women even if you are effeminate or gender nonconforming” and saying “don’t trust effeminate and gender nonconforming boys.”

on some level i can understand wanting to lie to cover for the person you’re fucking. i can even understand that jane has no business really having lake. now that i’m removed from watching the episode i can even understand that she really needed to tell the police that jane has a drug dealer.

but the acting like she knows nothing when we now know she’s the damn kidnapper and was working with the drug dealer. like that’s come psychotic shit.

and i don’t think it was done because jane is a drug user that shouldn’t ahve sole custody of lake. 

and i don’t even think it was for what’s his name. maybe i’ll be wrong though and the why will actually be interesting.

hey, that's not what I'm doing at all. I'm saying people who brag in the "I've always known!" row are generally blowhards who want other people to know they're smarter than them. "I find I am unsurprised because there's been something off about him (like his ungrowing feminism) is a very different sentiment.

that's different from saying "don't trust gnc men"

men who bank on being effeminate/gnc to make women lower their guards shouldn't be trusted

not bc they're gnc

but because they're using an attribute to behave in a predatory manner

the thing is though there’s no way of knowing whether their intent was to use that attribute in a predatory manner unless they outright say that’s what they were doing. like just because someone is more effeminate or gnc doesn’t necessarily mean that they just present that way to seem nonthreatening to get close to women and that’s what those posts were implying. my issue is with the portrayal of those attributes as inherently negative instead of the person, especially when gender nonconformity and feminity in men already both face so much backlash from homophobes, transphobes, the straight/cis community, and even within the gay and bi male community
