your post was responding the people saying, in your words, not to trust men who /bank/ on being effeminate/gnc
that's different from saying "don't trust gnc men"
men who bank on being effeminate/gnc to make women lower their guards shouldn't be trusted
but because they're using an attribute to behave in a predatory manner
the thing is though there’s no way of knowing whether their intent was to use that attribute in a predatory manner unless they outright say that’s what they were doing. like just because someone is more effeminate or gnc doesn’t necessarily mean that they just present that way to seem nonthreatening to get close to women and that’s what those posts were implying. my issue is with the portrayal of those attributes as inherently negative instead of the person, especially when gender nonconformity and feminity in men already both face so much backlash from homophobes, transphobes, the straight/cis community, and even within the gay and bi male community
