This (top) is an early version of an in-game Tutorial for BitKu, and some example comics made using it.
We shortened the tutorial in the end, so you can get into the action sooner, but we liked how this came out too, so here you go! It pretty much covers all the basics so you can jump right into creating.
BitKu is 100% free on STEAM, so go tell some stories!
BitKu is now FREE to play in your (desktop) Web Browser!
Give it a spin! Let’s see what you’ve got. :D

Another fine BitKu comic. Beta testing the latest build... (it works :)
Our latest tumblr profile background. 100% BitKu art assets. We think we’ll make the STEAM capsules (The game art on Steam) look like this.
BitKu will be live here some time on on Thursday. :D
BitKu kinda goes like this:
Players are given a choice of two “Themes” to choose from. (such as Love, Money, Nightmares, Parenting, etc).
Then the player is given 10 “cards” with related graphics to create a 1-4 panel story with. There is also an option to include custom text in your creations.
These can be adjusted in different ways (scale, rotate, reflect, color) & most sprites have a number of “states”.
Then you export an image of your creation, share it with the world. Like here!
Feel free to email us, or just post with #BitKu. We’ll hopefully find them and if they are great they will wind up here of on our @_bitku twitter....
right now BitKu is only available on STEAM but it will be in browsers soon and with any luck, it will make it to mobile.
Happy creating!

Well, the theme was “Exercise”, but I don’t think that cowboy is getting much exercise...
