Rhyme can always tell if Joshua is near. Always.
After coming back to the RG, Rhyme has become more in tune to the UG, to Shibuya, and to Joshua.
Because of that, she knows when Josh is observing her/the Hachiko Gang.
Joshua, no matter how hard he tries, cannot sneak up on her.
If he tries to sneak up on Rhyme, he usually ends up getting something thrown at him, usually whatever Rhyme has on hand, such as food (mainly apples), bottled drinks, phones, purses, a computer once; as in an actual computer, not the screen/monitor; a TV remote, and one memorable time, a spray paint can that exploded in his face.
Josh knows better than to sneak up on Rhyme after that. Not that it stops him from trying.
She's basically a Joshua GPS.
Everyone else finds this hilarious.
The Higher Planes are terrified of her. Especially after The Apple Incident. The Higher Planes do not speak of The Apple Incident.
