This one is for the rum lovers and the children of nature. A gorgeous, spice-packed cocktail that appeases the darkness your tongue desires and the mysterious scents you would smell in the garden after midnight. I used two homemade syrups and Gosling’s Black Seal Rum because I’ve been in love with the spicy spirit lately.
1 1/2 ounces Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
1 ounce Kilimanjaro Syrup (recipe in a previous post)
1/2 Rum Anise star syrup (homemade)
1 Hibiscus Flower & tsp of its own syrup (for bottom pf glass)
2 dashes of Bitterman’s Burlesque Bitters
stir all ingredients minus hibiscus flower and syrup. Insert flower & tsp of hibiscus syrup into bottom of tall Collins glass. after stirring drink, pour over syrup in glass and add ice. Garnish with fresh sage leaf.
