This is the beginning of the end, and this time we have a drastic shift from the previous two redesigns with like... and actual redesign of Water Hazard/orishan/Bivalvan- hmm... let's just call this Bivalvan because I've drawn him before :P

First of all- so many eyes. Clam eyes are so (relatively) freaky y'all, truly the 'people with blue eyes: *staring into your soul*' type energy, so of the 10 visible eyes, Bivalvan has an eye ring, an iris and a pupil :)

And what do I mean by only ten visible eyes, there's a lot more blue on this design than 10. That's because those aren't eyes, that's the colour of his flesh and thus, for every hole in the armour is a valve (hah!) for water flow and thus, breathing! Things like the muscles in the claws and hood and the foot visible between Bivalvan's legs and waist are for mobility, the tendons mainly for closing joints and creating a water tight seal, the foot for movement of the limbs.

Speaking of limbs, you can clearly see how different Bivalvan's legs are :) really putting in the cockroach of my personal biases. An orishan's hands are just claws akin to the ones that rest on their waist that rest inside the claw. And those claws are in fact water cannons :P

#bivalvan #water hazard #orishan #ben 10 #fanart #also i drew a thing from of the devil a visual novel defense lawyer game that is so hauntingly good i can never go back to phoenix wright #there is the temptation to do so but it will break me to go back even as i long for the gameplay and story telling #anyway check it out it's really fucking good trust me just maybe check warnings because well #content warnings aside it's also very visually taxing so be cautious and what not #ANYWAY THE DESIGN #the main difference between cerebrocrustaceans and orishan that i wanted to say with these designs #is that orishan have adapted to take water anywhere that's available with the ability to 'bubble' their water #whereas cerebrocrustaceans have prioritised the integrity of their armour even if it means they have one access point to their gills #makes making a rebreather easier of course but this ain't about them #plus they evolved from something akin to the arthropod family vs orishans which evolved from species kind of like bivalve mollusks #means they have a few seams in their armour that evolved from things either able to open or forced closed by pressure #perhaps that pressure is what it took to help develop a need to keep those seams closed since they never opened :P #either way will i suddenly draw bivalvan this way forevermore? i might forget actually #well- yeeagh i guess that's what i have to say to that

Bivalvan is so powerful that when Ben first encounters Bivalvan and fights him as Chromastone, Bivalvan immediately defeats Ben by spraying a flood of water at him, which pushes him into some wires and somehow electrocutes him unconscious (even though Chromastone was shown to absorb electricity just fine before).

Can I get more story time of how Ben met each of the Andromeda aliens? (Pandor, Bivalvan, Andreas and others?) I just really love those aliens.

I know. Me too. The Andromeda five will be shocked when they learn they have a son on Earth and they all share him. It will be hilarious.

Most of Ben's first meetings with his Andromeda fathers almost the same. Naturally, Ben is curious to get to know them a little. However, he does want to help them to get home.

Bivalvan - He's surprised to see a teenage version of himself and will realize that his son is the result of the Omnitrix. He'll be a little impressed by Ben.

Galapagus - He becomes overjoyed to know that he has a son, who's a hero that helps people. He instantly welcomes Ben into his life and wants to pass his knowledge down to his son.

P'andor - As soon as he finds out that Ben is his son, he immediately tries to get off of Earth because he's not paying for child support. But he does eventually warm up to Ben. Unfortunately, P'andor tried to recruit Ben into his criminal lifestyle.

Andreas - Instantly gives Ben a bear hug and cuddles him, much to Ben's embarrassment. Andreas is extremely protective of his son and will fight anyone who hurts him.

Ra'ad - Doesn't know what to think of the whole situation. But he does find himself becoming attached to Ben despite just meeting his son. Ra'ad constantly worries about Ben and tends to read his mind to know where he's at, not knowing that it's an evasion of privacy.
