One time at a con I went to, I brought my doll with me and a lot of other people had brought theirs as well. One girl asked if she could hold my doll and I didn’t mind so I let her. However, she proceeded to try taking my doll apart! I freaked out and took my doll back because I wasn’t expecting that. She had a doll of her own so I don’t know why she thought that would be okay… What crazy things have happened to your dolls at cons or meets?

im really excited for the doll convention this year but i feel a little guilty since last year i was looking at this person’s (secondhand?) wigs. so there was this little one i wanted and it was $20 and i acted kinda shocked. the seller was an elderly woman and i was a teen so she was really nice to me about it and offered it to me for a lower price. i opted out for another one which just happened to be a little cheaper, but i really got it just because it would have actually fit my doll. i am sure she understood i was new so maybe some prices could have been a little of a shock. however i feel really guilty about this, i hope that if she will be there next year, she wont remember me. i just dont want her to feel sad at a fun event that is all.

DollsParty BJD Convention Beijing 2023

So this is a major BJD convention in China that happens almost once a month and takes place in a major city around China. Since this one was in the city I was in at the time, I decided to go. I regret not taking more photos but there were a lot of people and it was so crowded that you can't move down certain aisles and the room was incredibly hot due to the sheer amount of people in them. I also got distracted by the really lewd displays people put their large 1/3 dolls in so uh, that's also another reason for the lack of photos.

And here are the goodies of the convention. I wish I had more money at the time.

So some in the danish comm is starting up a new bjd con, which would be pretty exciting if it wasn't for the fact that they many times previously have obviously been favoring their own circle before any others. . So I really don't trust them to do anything good for the people outside their closed circle. I and I can already guarantee that the winners of any of the competitions are friends with them
