BUT if you see the word RECAST when you are trying to get into the doll hobby that is a BJD TERM THAT MEANS KNOCK OFF OR COUNTERFEIT.
THESE DOLLS HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTIST FOR PERSONAL PROFIT.
THERE ARE BLOGS WHO ARE TRYING TO CONVINCE NEWBIES THAT THESE DOLLS ARE LEGIT.
THEY ARE NOT!
The artists who sculpted these dolls have spoken against recasts/counterfeits of their art!
IF YOU CHOOSE TO BUY A RECAST, AFTER KNOWING THIS, THAT IS ON YOU, THAT IS YOUR DECISION.
BUT IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS BE CAREFUL!
DO YOUR RESEARCH.
ASK FOR HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY.
AND IF SOMEONE IS TRYING TO PERSUADE YOU INTO BUYING RECASTS THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM YOU!
