Painted some Dream Valley Sherra Owl hip wings in light tan to be super brightly colored. I first painted the base colors with acrylics, and then went over that with a few layers of pastels to add more depth to the coloring.

I was trying to slightly change the color of the wings to get them to stand out more, while still keeping the feather pattern that they have. I first tried paints, both acrylic and watercolor, as well as pastels, and none of the three held onto the wings and were too streaky for my taste. I finally tried to tint them with copic markers, and while it had a few acid-looking stains to it, I really loved the effect. The acid wash dot effect was caused by the fixative I sprayed on to prevent the ink from smudging.

I have capes and more jewelry for BJDs, and a few Lucky Packs.  The stocking Lucky Packs have 3 pairs for only $7.49, and the wig packs have two wigs for $5.49 to $6.49 depending on the size.  And there are beige and black MSD size wig caps, and beige Blythe size wig caps and that is it!  Give this stuff a new home!

First Frost

worn by Lucy (Illusion Spirit Ying Ye)

Special wings made of silver wire, iridescent translucent sequins and beads. Set to mimic frost glittering off tree branches. Attached with the use of two sets of neodymium (rare earth) magnets. Suitable for SD-sized dolls and MSD-sized dolls. Will be put up for sale on the online shop and on the upcoming CosplayMania convention at the ManikaManila booth.

Wings and clothing by me. 

First time I've ever made an outfit by myself. Yay me! Not so thrilled with the silvery "top" but I'm okay with the skirt. :) Brings a different sense of happiness to dress dolls in clothing you put together yourself.

First Look: Zephyr

You might have seen Zephyr already from the photos of ManikaManila that I reblogged. :) But this was one of the shots I took before the doll market. Zephyr wasn't sold at the market, but it's now no longer available.

Currently, these wings are reserved for dollstars. :)
