The good white belt and the brown belt

Today I was training with a white belt, four stripes. His English is not very good but I like him a lot, He has a good attitude. He is always very smiley and despite he is not very strong he tries his best to learn and to do it well.

After the class we did sparring and he got me in an armbar. Actually I felt certainly proud for him because it was not any armbar.

I was doing sitting guard and he was standing in front of me. Literally he did it fairly well. Till now I have only seen that technic well executed once and it was to our professor like a year ago. Actually He told us at that time that He was promoted to black belt after showing that technic.

This white belt did it veeeeery well, and He totally got me inside because I was not defending that.

I hope he will keep training hard. I congratulated him because He was even smooth, not a crazy bastard.

Anyhow, after that I was doing sparring with a senior brown belt who is super kind as well. He made me tap like 5 times in a row but surprisingly I got him twice, once in a leg lock the other I nastily passed his guard and go to mount.

And then I realized that for everyone is the same. He let me get the leg lock and he felt happy to pay for that. At the end of the day we are all students.

After the class He came to me to ask me if I had some questions. I asked him about north-south position and a couple of other things. He gave me very good advises. Sometimes I feel thankful of having met so many nice people here in Korea
