What does paid propaganda and subversion look like? 
Take a look at this reel. This content creator, an Englishman, who goes by the username "indogenius", makes wholesome content, mainly catered to the Indian audience. He comes off as approachable and a genuine lover of Indian culture. The thing is, this is his assigned job. The United Kingdom desperately needs trade, and since Brexit, they've turned their gaze to India. For that, a few British cultural ambassadors of India have started popping up. Is it so wholesome when you find out that the Oxford University, the Royal Historical Society of the United Kingdom, and other such highly regarded institutions have pushed a very specific version of Indian history, which is revisionist history?

Can you notice the pattern in the comments? I'm not sure if the comments are bot driven or by genuine accounts, but it is very alarming that even after the access to so much public information, and even Gandhi's own biography on the Indian government's website, the absolute idolisation of Gandhi continues.
I don't necessarily want to admonish this Englishman for doing his assigned job, especially when there are double as many Indian born Indian propagandists on Instagram. You will see them making engaging content, where they share interesting trivia about history, etymology, food, clothing, mythology, etc., but you immediately noticed from their video quality that they're likely insanely privileged, trained by some kind of institution and has powerful backing, possibly political links and funding. Even if you comment on their videos, your comment gets buried under hundreds of comments, and the most liked comments are mostly typed by bots. Instagram propaganda serves as an important reminder of how important media literacy is. Personally, I think the most hilarious thing is that the people in the above comments on the screenshots (if they're genuine people and not bots) think that they are intelligent "because they don't believe in Whatsapp university and BJP RSS andhbhakt sanghi gobar history", but they have no idea that the rest of the world knows how to read and knows that Gandhi was an anti-black racist, and he slept naked with his underage relatives, and that he refused to give his wife penicillin because he thought that suffering is a virtue. This also reminds me how Indian -leftist secularist liberalist Marxist progressive oppositionists- are the only ones in the world (besides devout Catholics and the ones ignorant in history) who worship "Mother" Teresa. So much so that when a white western person makes a YouTube video or Instagram reel about the crimes of "Mother" Teresa, it's this specific aforementioned set of Indians that solemnly defend the honour of "Mother" Teresa. Can you think of a bigger slave population than the aforementioned set of Indians?
