Hi all! We’ve been really lucky with this cast- thank you to all of you for coming up with amazing plots and threads, being such wonderful writers and people out of character. To share a little of our appreciation, we’re going to be introducing a series called Player of the Week. Each week, we’ll highlight one of the writers here and their characters. Our first ever player of the week is... Lia, with her depiction of the forgotten!
( The Story )
You were sent away by a desperate family hoping to survive, your future lost to their decision. The only ray of hope that shone in the bleak world was your sister. As the two of you clung to each other, America emerging beneath the soles of your shoes, realization hit hard. This was not salvation, this was near imprisonment. The cruelty did not stop there. They separated you both, in favor of lining their own pockets. You’ve been at their beck and call for twelve years now, alone and miserable, but plotting your revenge. Funneling information to the Faction is no easy feat, but you manage what you can and whisper secrets to those with nefarious plots in mind. Yet rumors fly amongst the other girls and you’ve heard whispers through the grapevine of a capo in the ranks with your last name.

I would say that Lia is an amazing human being who I would sacrifice a pumpkin too. And Azra is a complex character that deserves so much more than what she got in life and I can’t wait to see her break out of her shell and take back all the things that were taken from her. 12/5 stars -A fellow writer

Hi all! As mentioned before, in preparation for season two, we decided to open up the opportunity to apply and become of our admin team. We received four fantastic applications for the position and would like to thank everyone who submitted with us.
As you’ve all noticed, the admin team have been a little swamped lately with some real life things that have taken precedence. Our choice to expand wasn’t purely because of this, but also because we really wanted to make sure that we have as many possibilities with a wider range of ideas and experiences within our loving little family here at Blood Kingdom. It’s a group that we all want to see thrive and continue to be an amazing place for us all to expand and develop our characters and our friendships.
With that being said, as a group, we’ve decided to bring on two of the applicants who we have absolutely no doubt will be amazing additions to our little team!

Good evening Chicago! According to some of our sources at Northwestern, Rafal Kovali has awoken from his unconscious state. The businessman had been induced in a coma following injuries sustained at the Navy Pier Blast. We’re being told that Irena Kovali remains under.
The Mayor is set to make an announcement later this week regarding the attack, we’re being told that the police deparment and the city government are working closely to catch the perpetrators of this viscious crime. We’ll continue to update you as new’s reaches our desk. Stay vigilant.
The King is back in the game... and hell hath no fury like a Kovali scorned. Power shifts, movements are unclear although one thing is obvious: something big is coming.

Rafal Kovali will be an admin playable character and strategically employed throughout the plot Characters that wish to have threads are more than welcome to send the main a message with the goal they want that thread to accomplish!
With this addition, we’d like to remind our players of the power structure that is currently in place. While we as muns may know certain details regarding plot, that may not be the case with our muses! We always recommend creating a timeline or known details to keep track of logistics so that gameplay remains smooth.
Another small detail is that hiatuses should be requested through the main, with this form filled out. Other than that, stayed tuned... we’ve got some very fun things planned for this week.
With every second, midnight inched closer. As it were, the guests lost themselves in the grandiose display- a cup always full, numerous faces curious about Chicago’s infamous family. The microphone cut through the noise, Rafal Kovali and his wife staring out into the great expanse. We thank you for being here this evening...
(DURING) The Icarus had been all too curious yet again, a soft humming drawing them closer to a propped open utility closet. Under hazy lights, eyes widened at a device: red numbers counting down, wires connecting metal to metal. A disaster waiting to explode. They turned on their heel, racing towards the main atrium through the mirror maze, desperation running in their veins when they saw them, their eyes trying to register the Gambler’s and the Mad Scientist’s faces before they fell on the time. One minute.
It was never meant to be just a party. It was meant to be revenge. Faced with the future they could’ve had, the Faction members looked with disgust upon every golden detail. The moment the invitations arrived, the plan had been set into motion by the Illegitimate. He gathered the three representatives: the Black Widow, the Traitor, The Casanova. “They think they’re untouchable, they think we’ve forgotten.” Tonight, they would strike at the very heart and soul of the Kovali.
(MIDNIGHT) Eager eyes watched through the atrium windows, awaiting the spectacular promise of a light show. Just as the first one sailed into the sky, colors painting the low clouds, the floor began to shake. It was silence... and then chaos. Explosions went off in the maze and then the atrium, the force sending waves throughout the crowds as the glass ceiling came crashing down. As if hell itself had opened up on navy pier, fire and smoke began to consume the space. A statement was made.

Welcome to part two of our Forged Fires event. The Faction has bombed navy pier, and for lack of a better word, the space is a battlefield.
Guests have been trapped in the atrium, where danger is at every corner. Injuries are far and wide, with varying degrees of seriousness. Those hurt include The Coward, The Heir, The Cataclysmic, The Phoenix, The Crooked, The Princess, The Hot Shot with the The King & Queen in the worst shape.
While some made it into the mirror maze, trying to find a way out through each twist and turn, a fire rages threatening to suffocate them whole: The Sacrificed, The Consigliere, The Survivor, The Prospect, The Messiah, The Shadow, The Doctor, The Lover, The Forgotten, The Icarus, The Paradox, The Weapon.
The Faction members have escaped relatively unscathed, meeting undeground as they watch the first brick in the Kovali’s castle turn to flames. Making it with their lives in tact, they hide in the Sigara warehouses as sirens wail: The Gambler, The Mad Scientist, The Traitor, The Casanova, The Black Widow, The Loyalist, The Illegitimate, The Spy.
Good evening Chicago! We here at ABC 7 just received word that our first responders have broken through Navy Pier and are in the process of rescuing stranded guests. Injuries range from small cuts to third degree burns, with all paitents being transported to Northwestern Memorial. We sending hopes for speedy recoveries for all those affected. Our official death count has hit 45.
We had a witness call in earlier to the police, although they wished to remain anonymous (The Icarus). They provided details of the two men (The Gambler & The Mad Scientist) they saw setting up what looked like, we’ll now present the police department’s sketh rendering... These individuals are considered highly dangerous. If anyone has information regardig their identity, please contact the police department immediatly.
Both Rafal and Irena Kovali remain in critical condition, with vitals that are unstablizied. We’ll continue to update as details come in. Stay safe Chicago!
40 hours have passed, the Faction holding both the Zephyr Jackson and Ismael De La Torre. Just as the sun began to set on the Windy City, a spark was lit. Restraints were loosened, a gun acquired. The shoot out began... But who was to blame for this carelessness?
CURRENTLY: Zephyr Jackson & Ismael De La Torre have managed to escape the Faction’s grasp, thanks to the aid of Channing Marx. Suspicion and tension runs high in the organization following a damning news report, and the all too convenient escape. Both Irena and Rafal are stuck are stuck in Northwestern, in a medically induced coma. For the time being, the highest rank members are Zephyr Jackson, Alex Yuen and the Capos. Kovali associates and unaffiliated are being treated at the packed emergency room floor and slowly make their way home after a disastrous evening. Threads can now commence without involvement in the event! These can include trying to get back to work after injuries, visiting other characters, beginning to plan retaliation, snuffing out a rat... it’s all up to your imagination! Just remember, all actions have consequences...

Hi all! Just a quick clarification for our timeline to help characters and muns know how much time has passed in game play. The day an event is posted is the same day that event is happening in game play. For example, our first event was posted on June 19th- this means that the party was also held the evening of June 19th! Each breaking news post should contain some number of time passed (i.e the breakout from the Sigara warehouses was placed at 40 hours after the party). If there’s anything we do to help clarify our timeline, please let us know. Likewise you can find an updated version of what’s happened in game play on this page.
