I don't think it makes sense for BTS EXO and Blackbear to use the same loop from a library like honestly. Plus BTS's song is literally called Dead Leaves while Blackbear's is called Dead Roses so there had to be some kind of copying/sampling going on.
I think one of the reasons why so many people jumped on BTS quick for the stealing rumor is because namjoon stole songs and lyrics and stuff in the past and because the person they "stole" it from was an underrated indie black artist. also because they barely changed the song title it looked VERY sketchy and since BTS use black culture and Ideas to their advantage and then "steal" without credit got some people so annoyed

it's not a matter of not needing to credit bought samples because sometimes the agreement includes having your credit presented on the final product.
LOL. Does anyone else find it hilarious the way we excuse "sampling" or thievery but the moment we find out that another artist has sampled from KPOP, we are on them like hounds to meat? I remember TOP's beat got sampled for a mixtape and KPOP fans tore the artist apart and its why I side-eye KPOP fans who claim they love "hip hop." Like if you loved it truly, you'd know that hip hop artists COMMONLY sample other beats for mixtapes!
I thought that with sampling and you actually bought the sample you don't have to credit who made it? but anyways we won't know for certain unless that person says something so saying BTS plagiarized and EXO is just using a sample is ridiculous

i can't believe people are arguing more about who sampled what instead of questioning why so much of kpop is just a sample. fans should demand more originality. you have that much money and that's your profession your time should be spent being innovative and creative, not just spent putting out anything the quickest way just to make an image and make quick money. this isn't directed to the artists cause they are under contract but moreso to the lazy labels
Laugh my fucking ass off. Ppl accusing BTS of plagiarism and EXO of sampling legally when both didnt credit blackbear for using the beat. But it seems that only BTS can be accused of plagiarism since EXO can do no wrong. Either both are using the sample legally or both are copying. They never know sounds even more similar to Dead rose than Dead Leaves.
