Last Saturday i arrived in Bushwick to begin my residency at The Hollows art space. Check out their website to learn about the opportunity.  I will be working on pieces for two shows, Art of the Interior and Bushwick in Time, which will be on display in January or February. Mark your calendars!  So far, i purchased a bike to get around and stay active which is great in this area because of the bike lanes, and have also visited Pratt (by bike) for a panel discussion (and to find the Blick store on campus).  I also made a trip to Brooklyn Metal Works (BKMW) and am now a member! their workspace is awesome, with a small gallery space in front. look at http://bkmetalworks.com if you are also interested in a sweet open studio space.
