Like You (Mikey Way)
"Y/N, there's something I need to tell you, I should've told you awhile ago, I just figured you'd freak." Mikey scratched the back of his neck, looked petrified to tell you whatever it was. "Mikes, you can tell me anything, you know that." He nodded. "That's why I'm telling you now..." He inhaled deeply, "I have a daughter, she's four, her mom is not in the picture, had her and vanished. She goes to play with Bandit whenever you come over. I waited until I knew you were going to stick around for me, but then I got scared and waited some more. If you want to leave I understand, kids are crazy and a lot to, wait, you're smiling?" You nodded. "Of course I am, Mikey, that's awesome that you take care of your daughter, I'd never leave you just because you have a daughter, that's absurd!" He sighed a giant sigh of relief, smiling himself. "I just kind of thought you'd see responsibility and run." You shook your head. "I'm not like her mother Mikey, I'm not leaving you, and I'm not ditching her without a mom." Mikey's smile widened. "You mean it?" You kissed him. "Of course I do." ~ "Ella, meet Ms. Y/N." You smiled at the girl, who seemed kind of shy but willing to meet you. "Hi." She mumbled waving slightly. "Hi, Ella." You smiled waving back. "She's a little shy around new people." Mikey laughed. You nodded. "She's like you." He blushed slightly but nodded. "Yeah, like me." You kissed his cheek gently sparking Ella's interest. "Daddy are you going to marry Ms. Y/N?" Mikey just shrugged picking her up. "I don't know El, I guess we'll have to see." Ella frowned slightly. "Oh, well I think I like Ms. Y/N." Mikey's grin was even bigger then yours. "Good, cause I like her too." ~couple weeks/months in the future~ "Ella!" You called, her preschool was having some Mother's Day function and Mikey had asked if you'd go considering you were the closest to a mum Ella had. "Ms. Y/N?" Ella was smiling but still not sure why you were here. "Can I be your mom today?" You smiled her confusion disappearing as the pieces fell together for her. "Yes! I was the only one here without a mommy, now I have one!" You couldn't NOT smile at how happy just having someone to call 'mommy' made her. "Look Hana, this is my mommy!" You smiled waving at Ella's various friends as she introduced you around the classroom. Since you were in class, you got to take Ella home that day, she seemed like she had something important to say, but with four year olds you never knew. "You okay there El?" You asked glancing back in the mirror. "Ms. y/n, can I keep calling you mommy since you do all the things everyone else's mom's do and I don't have one?" You didn't mind but didn't know if Mikey would. "Sure you can, if Daddy doesn't mind okay?" She nodded content with that answer before returning to examining the passing cars. ~ "Mommy! Mommy! Daddy said I can call you mommy!" Ella came running towards you from down the hall. You'd texted Mikey before getting home, so you knew he'd say okay but you still had a smile on your face. "That's great El's." She grinned as you picked her up, swinging her around a bit before setting her down. "So, how was your first day as mommy?" Mikey kissed your cheek. "It was great, thanks." You smiled kissing him on the lips. "Ewwww. Mommy that's gross!" You heard a familiar voice shout, both laughing. "And there's the downfall to being Mommy." You joked Mikey grinning, nodding in agreement.
