i'm curious about your version of ghost!dream and/or ghost!tommy
Oooh I have some designs I made 2+ years ago for a roleplay group I was in that doesn't exist anymore, and I suppose I could share those! Here you go:
Aspects of these designs I would say speak pretty heavily about the eras they were designed in. BK!Tommy (plus Phantommy) is from a canon-divergent New L'Manberg-era world, and I started roleplaying/designed him all the way back in 2021. Spirit (or Nukes!Dream) was designed shortly after the launch (ha) of the nukes ending, circa late 2022/early 2023.
In my personal headcanon, ghosts are manifestations of a single aspect or emotion that is directly contrary to their living counterpart's greatest flaw. Phantommy is a manifestation of peace, in direct contrast with Tommy's temper, and Spirit is a manifestation of obedience, in direct contrast with Dream's obsession with control.
With a bit of magical memory shenanigans, both ghosts have an extremely hard time recalling any memories that contradict their current demeanor. Phantommy is very difficult to rile up - he's almost incapable of rising to any sort of bait. If he does, in rare circumstances, he will be angry for a very small amount of time, then run away because he hates how it feels. And then he'll forget the entire interaction!
Spirit, on the other hand, is just very passive. He's a follower, and hates making any sort of decisions. He will nod along and follow orders and happily take instruction, but panic/melt down if forced to make any sort of decision more major than "what's your favorite color". If pressed in this way, he will shut down and then forget the question entirely.
