Some comic pages I did earlier. Wanted to tell some story I had in mind, set during the early days of the pandemic. I'll be honest and say I'm not sure when I get around to the rest of it, but I liked these pages and wanted to post them here.

You could say it's a sequel to my comic "The Holy Cephalaphore," which I'll be posting later, but I've kind of separated them. I hope you can enjoy it when it comes out though next week..

Is sacredness the only route to power? The answer MAY SURPRISE YOU (or not...).  Tags: Richard the Lionheart x Philippe Auguste (long before they had earned those specific epithets, though) It's historical, but meant to be understandable as a standalone story. 18+ please.

Specs:

It's 36 pages, black and white with color covers, 8.5"x5.5" (half letter size.) The Digital Version includes a 14 page bonus pdf of extra doodles and commentary.

I am pleased to note that this comic received a lovely blurb from @blrecs 's Manga Ichiba 2026 Doujinshi overview, which also describes some other amazing comics as well.

“(No Such Thing as a) FREE LUNCH”

A Devilsburger RichPhil comic I pulled an all-nighter for to finish drawing (in pen on printer paper) scanning, formatting, printing, and stapling the day before a zinefest XD. It was a neat experience in coming up with and executing a quick project while still being clear and communicative, even if it’s not as polished as my other works.

This is kind of non-canon, since I had more of a scene in mind than fitting it into the larger story I have going on slowly in the main comics . Still, I wanted to make something cute and silly but also involving a lot of weird toxic feelings bubbling around. Anyways, despite my efforts, this zine did NOT sell at all the fest, but I’m definitely glad I did it, it was a lot of fun! I kind of have more scenes planned for this, maybe a little sequel (given the MYSTERIOUS CLIFFHANGER in the end) but that remains to be seen. Hope you can all enjoy <3

Some concept sketches for the RichPhil comic im making in progress, Quod Ames. Richard, Philippe, Louis. Philippe's look is inspired by some of these fashionable Moralia in Job figures. Isn't he squeezable...

I've been doing like 90% of all my drawing recently on printer paper and I'm too lazy to scan most of it. But it does wonders for having a freer and more comfortable hand in what I'm making ...
