The Eclipse Episode 7: reaction post

I have been watching The Eclipse over the last couple weeks. It's a denser show, and since it's also not in English I have to be focused to follow the story. I'm on episode 7 now and I encountered one of my favorite things you see occasionally in media. Which is someone using another person's manners against them.

Akk shows up at the 1984 discussion, and is clearly interested, the little nerd, but then Ayan sits next to him and he goes to like storm out. But Ayan grabs his arm and says "you don't want to disturb everyone, that would be rude" (paraphrased) and Akk is clearly so frustrated. He's just like 'Dammit, my deeply ingrained propriety.'

It's just very funny to me, that's all.

Update, bc it's easier to just make this like a live Tumblr watch situation I guess. They're now all sitting on the beach and I thought they were gonna start playing spin the bottle. Which I thought was a bit of a weird choice for a bunch of kids who go to a school whose motto might as well be 'No Homo' but apparently it's just another way to play like truth or dare. We'll see where this goes.

Well, it goes to some of them definitely being a little homo.
