“Redemption Arc Trope”

To be honest, I don’t see death/sacrifice as a form of redemption for a character. If anything it feels like a way for writers to think they’re giving a character redemption, but in all actuality, they’re just done with a character and this is a way of throwing them away basically. Not a fan of it, there’s other forms of redemption that don’t require the immediate death of a character who feels redeemed or would “sacrifice themselves” for redemption. It’s cheap and no one likes to see it happen, well other than the people who want to see the character die. Definitely feels like a win for haters more than fans of a character

Man it would be great to know if i knew the context for popular headcanons of Friendsim trolls.

I got the idea that theres a connection between Cirava and Charun are that the former follows the latter and has mebtioned either likes or comments on their creations.

But where is the link between Cirava and Tagora being moirails? Where can i learn more about that?

And speaking of Tagora, where does it mention that Galek at any point thought their relationship was matespriteship when Tagora was throwing Spades at him?????

(I'm ALMOST DONT catching up on Friendsim. All i have left is the rest of Lanques route-which i hope will explain to me why I keep seeing so much fanart of him and Mallek together, pls tell me the latter is not his ex, i want Mallek to have good times :_;- and the... Purpleblood twins... Left to go... And then apparently the finale. Hopefully I'll get answers by then. Or find the origins of these popular headcanons. Because theyre interesting.)

I look FAR too much into the Ancestors, specifically the Signless group. And whenever I look at Signless and Disciples relationship "transcending beyond the Quadrants" (I think thats how it was worded?) I cant help but imagine what that would have looked like. (My personal view of it is "Oh. So they're a healthy married couple. Thats good :) ) but the longer i look at it, the more i wonder, could Signless have brought up that their emotions shouldnt be fit in just one specific quadrant? Because- and i havent caught up to how much of Alternia was sculpted by Lord English- but it seems like Signless was one of the single digit of people that knew that their reality has been warped. And hes already trying to change people from following the pointless cruelty they were practically brainwashed into behaving. So why not bring up to the Olive Blood who enyered his life, someone that seemed to understand the HEART and Soul that emotions shouldnt be confined in one single Quadrant? As another form of breaking free from the Puppeteer. Why not introduce to the to-be-named Diciple, to be his love, someone to challenge him, someone to comfort him, and someone who both he and her could take a moment and work on their relationship?
