Bandai is releasing the second edition of the Yu Yu Hakusho Sticker/Wafer series. The first series, featuring the characters that appeared in the Dark Tournament, came out this month (December, 2023).

This time, a total of 33 types of stickers (including 1 secret type) featuring characters who were mainly active during the Black Chapter and Makai Tournament Sagas will be available in 2024. This edition also includes the first "VS Rare" stickers!

Reservations will begin on Bandai's Official Shop site "Premium Bandai" on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Yu Yu Hakusho POP UP STORE in Loft vol.3 (2023)

Tactical Fashion / Sensui Arc

"Yu Yu Hakusho POP UP STORE in Loft vol.3" will be held in March 2023! Amnibus has revealed part of the new art, showing Yusuke and Sensui in tactical clothing. We can also spot the silhouettes of Kuwabara, Hiei, ponytail Kurama, Youko, Itsuki and Kaname. I'm looking forward to seeing the full illustrations.

The Beginning of a Destiny 

"Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle" Botan Event 

This event was first held on July 6th, 2020. Some of the lines are from episode 67, the beginning of the Black Chapter Arc.

Botan's friend Rena, a fellow shinigami, talks about the "hard" task of guiding the human souls to the Spirit World. Meanwhile, Koenma calls Botan due to strange reports from unusual activity in the Human World, and she reminisces about the day she disguised as a fortune teller and became the assistant of the spirit detective.

Botan: Wow! You guided 20 people to the Spirit World this month? 

Botan: I know it's just a job and all, but I can't help feeling the transience of human existence. 

Rena: Really? 

T/N: the chinese character on Rena's forehead is "死" (shi), it means "death".

Rena: When I announce to a boy who is my type that he is going to die, I am the happiiiiiest! 

Announcement: Botan-san, Botan-san. Koenma-sama is calling you. 

Koenma: Mm-hmm.

Botan is too cute as a fortune teller. I like Rena, I am glad she had more space in the anime. What's her type of man? 😂

I wish we knew more about Botan's co-workers. I wonder if there are any male shinigami at the Spirit World.
