throwback to linguistic data ! spending six hours a week poring over languages that i had never heard of was amazing. there’s just so much...WORD out there. it always amuses me that people think linguistics is about learning languages. it’s really just curiosity about how languages work and how we interact with them.

i wanna get back into studying japanese so i thought it would be a good idea to create a page to keep myself accountable and inspired.

i want to post updates on my progress as well as short journal entries written in japanese. i just need a space where i can make (and keep track of my) mistakes and not feel so self conscious. 行きましょう！💁🏿‍♀️🇯🇵
