Mina couldn’t blame the heat. In fact, it was a chilly night.

The source of the heat on her skin wasn't environmental. It was the lingering sensation of Dracula's lips on her skin. His brown eyes peering into her soul, the way her name sounded on his lips.

Mina.

She could still hear it, clear as if he laid beside her.

But he wasn't beside her. The left side of the bed was empty, cold. Jonathan was with Van Helsing and the others. Nina was alone.

As sleep escaped her for yet another night, she laid in bed awake; eyes in a dead stare on the ceiling.

I should be happy, she tells herself, Jonathan has returned to me. We are finally married. All of my dreams have come true.

Closing her eyes, images flash before her.

The first time they kiss, the way her body succumbed to his.

As the night replayed in her mind, her hands begin to travel. Moving over the curves of her body, over the soft fabric of the nightgown, down toward her heat.

By the time her hands find the soft center between her legs, Dracula felt so real she could smell him. She could hear her name on her lips as her middle fingers found refuge inside the moist folds...

“Mina.”

She hears his voice again,

“I feel you, I hear you -” She moans, adding another finger.

“Mina, open your eyes.”

Dracula/Hannibal AU

Chapter 1 of my Dracula /Hannibal AU is posting soon. Even if no one reads this, I’ll still be proud to finally start writing it after sitting on the idea for years. I’ll tell you another secret, I waited because capturing his show tone/voice is a huge challenge. Even on my 4th rewatch. BUT I reminded myself it’s AU, I can do what I want. So he can sound how ever I want. 🙂
