Day 365/365: December 31st 2017 | New Year’s Eve at Stadium-Chinatown
Had so much trouble sleeping last night. Barely slept for 7 hours. Ate brunch, got ready, and met up with Yvonne. We took 2 skytrain lines to go to TAKO. I got two tacos! A grilled beef belly taco and a deep fried spicy chicken taco. I really want to come back and try their poutine and burrito!!! Mmm yum. Yay, a good catch up day since it was my first time seeing her since the beginning of August ;~; !
Goodbye, 2017. It was a really fun and eventful year. One of my favourites but sadly the last few months presented me with an enormous amount of challenges that I was barely able to overcome. I’m proud of myself for all of my accomplishments in my studies (grades were somewhat more decent this year compared to the last), as well as my extreme productivity of working 2.5 jobs during the summer. Most importantly, I am proud of myself for being able to tell my mom something about myself that I’ve kept from her for awhile. Even though the process was really painful (and will probably take me the entire next year to recover), in the end she still chose to let me be happy and I am thankful for that. I really did as much as I possibly could during this past year so I really do not have anything to complain about. Good job, me.
I hope in 2018 I can become a happier person??? I feel like I started off 2017 really positive and happy but it sort of went downhill as the year progressed and as the amount of stress that I had to experience accumulated. I should reevaluate myself and my life and learn to be thankful for everyday because I never know when all the things that I have now will be taken away from me. I know that with graduating university, 2018 will present me with another HUGE pile of challenges that I have to face. Hopefully I can overcome them. If not then I’ll just binge watch Detective Conan for a few days LMFAO!!! Find your coping mechanisms, am I right KIDDOS!?
