Running has been hard these days. If it’s not 90 degrees with 90% humidity, there a dang hurricane. I’ve been sick, tired, my shoes are DONE, stress is just a lot. I’ll be running differently after this program. I think it was too much too soon. But you live and learn.
Update: we are still running. Mile pace is now a 9-10 minutes and 5k pace is about 12-13.
We NOT 10k ready and that’s ok. Just working in 5k times for November. We want to not only be proud we ran, but proud of our times.

First day of 5k training.
In the last 6 weeks I have learned to like running. To enjoy it. To look forward to it. To be proud of fest I have done, can do, and will achieve.
Today was slow. But I did it and did it with my family.
