Planning on undertaking an art project of the comic variety soon, so painted a couple of test landscapes in procreate. I really enjoyed painting these, and experimenting with procreate’s many brushes and settings. I based these off a couple of photos of the mountains in Wyoming, which will be the primary setting for the comic.

The comic is a supernatural Western adventure about a group of social outcasts attempting to solve the mystery training their small town. I’ll be posting concepts, tagged as ‘B&B’ (‘Black & Bone’) while I work all the fine details out. Social distancing/isolation is good for planning stories, I suppose. With a bit of luck, I’ll be ready to start posting pages by the end of the year.
