[Memories] 3 years ago! First panel done of a Popcorn pattern blouse! 🍿

Mum saw this pattern of a big airy blouse in spotlight and we bought it, and eco cotton yarn.

It took me quite a long time to finish just one panel, and it turned out pretty small for a blouse to fit me…🤔 Turns out, I was doing the wrong stitch! It called for tr and I did all dc. Because .. tr in UK is dc in US and i thought the pattern was UK terminology because… Spotlight =Australian 🤷🏻‍♀️. HAHAHA oh well. It’s still a nice pattern outcome.

Time for another update regarding my huge crochet project that is my Husband’s Blanket.

I’m one colourway shy of reaching my 1/3 goal!

The next 1/3 will be to crochet all the same colourways again & the last 1/3, will be to join all the motifs with the grey yarn as shown with the swatch.

Colourway names from the bottom are: Wild Berries, Summer Meadow, Lava & Atlantis.

The motifs are all popcorn stitch flowers.

Hopefully, the blanket will be finished by the end of Winter 2020...

The octopus is finished! It is made with @giddyyarns drip drip drop and one of the lighter shades of the May Blooms bundle for the suckers on the tentacles.
