Black Backdrop | Though not a 100% success, but tried the logic to allow the least light sensitivity to reach the camera as against a quicker shutter speed. Ps. Thank You James Cotchett and Family for your kindness. This bench sits in the middle of the serene environment in a London park to allow visitors rest and enjoy the nature around (though omitted here for a black backdrop, sorry!)

For the next induction we used a Canon camera on a black backdrop and our group decided to experiment more with coloured lighting by using red and green acetate as a film to create the coloured lighting. We chose the colours as we had tinsels and stars as our objects and thought the green and red would create a Christmas visual aesthetic.

We also experimented with capturing motion in a lot of these pictures by using the tinsels, dangling stars and chains and moving them about whilst we took the pictures. This would create a light painting effect and with the coloured lights it created a neon visual aesthetic which contrasted very well with the black background. The pictures turned out to be very abstract and I would like to further develop the use of playing with light and different processes to create abstract photographs.
