hi ! i'm currently making a Mass Effect armor, and what seemed like a cool idea became a kind of problem. I thought about using flat rubber for a detail (on the torso and back piece) BUT the problem is : I don't know what to use to make it stick to eva foam (I've tried neoprene glue / contact glue, which is great of foam but doesn't stick a bit on rubber)... Do you know what kind of glue would work?

Neither of us have tried gluing rubber to EVA foam, but contact cement might work (weldwood and barges are the two main brands I’ve seen used). 3M also makes a multi-purpose adhesive  that says it’ll work on rubber. Also try doing some light sanding on the rubber to give it a rough surface.

the doorway effect.... most of the time it is the "stand up effect" for me.. -> thinking about something while sitting on the sofa or so.. I stand up to get it/ get it done... sit down immediatly because I already forgot what I wanted to do.... Yep, this is shit

17: Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?

So, I guess happier? Mainly because I managed to do some things I wanted, like starting to write again and play around with polymer clay but also that was a very athletic year, since I started to Jillian Michael’s program and now I’m definitely thinner (which makes me happier too :p). However, poorer for sure, unfortunately.

21: Did you fall in love in 2013?

With many celebrities, books and series but other than that, no. Had a crush, but in the end, really glad it didn’t happen.

34: Who did you miss?

All the friends I made during my year abroad in England, even Nathalie who also lives in France but we’ve been so busy we didn’t see each other much, such a shame…

35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013.

Don’t trust people blindly? But I guess life has been trying to hammer this lesson in my brain for many years, I’m just starting to understand. Also, stop caring so much about people who don’t give a shit about you, really, it only ends up in tears. That’s not easy to do and I’m still doing my best but yeah, that’s pretty much it :)
