What dystopian world would you want to wake up in? ☠️ Dystopian worlds are tricky! I mean, generally speaking, they’re terrifying. At least in some ways. And the ones that seem the most real are the most horrifying of all. But, I think as far as survivability, I’d take my chances Qaanaaq. You’d definitely have to be wealthy. And not cross any of the powerful elite. But the chance to maybe *maybe* be nanobonded with a polar bear?! Sign me up! ☠️ I finished #blackfishcity when we were in Tahoe and the story is still with me! Plus, sitting at the edge of the dock made it easy to imagine being on one of the arms of Qaanaaq’s floating city. Such gorgeous writing and a beautifully woven tapestry of characters that each slowly reveal their connection as the book moves forward. I just love when there is so much subtlety and nuance that it makes the end of a book breathtakingly spectacular!!! If you haven’t picked this up and enjoy adult dystopian fiction, give it a shot!!!
